|
|
Recently figured out how to do the reverse around the neck, and have been trying my best to get it down pat, but I'm finding that even with a good bit of stretching before each practice session that my back ends up hurting a good bit as a result of drilling the move.
I can only seem to get the ball to roll up to my neckline proper if I lean a good ways back as I start it off, so I'm curious as to if there's an alternate way to accomplish this move without having to lean back so damned much.
Suggestions? _________________ Contact Jugglers do it anywhere. |

film it and it'll be possible to give a better idea. both from front and side, please.
this is a guess but try bending your knees.

Unfortunately I don't have a camera here, so no dice on the film..
I'll try to better describe the move.
You start it like a chest roll, but when it reaches your neck you lean back and then to the side a bit so that the ball rolls behind your neck and then back down the arm you started the move with _________________ Contact Jugglers do it anywhere. |

Lots of stretching for you, I'm afraid...
or bend your knees.
I like to do a pirouette into the ball as it gets to the point of going over the shoulder. _________________ With practice, You too could be like Ryan Mellors...

and possibly let the ball roll further onto the shoulder before turning it so you don't have to bend so far back, my preference when i do this move.
oh and stretch, nose to knees after/during practicing this, also rolling your spine down and up a lot pilates style. (pilates good) _________________ ...create pointless acts of beauty. |

Thank you all very much for the advice. Guess I'm going to have to do far more stretching than I do currently. _________________ Contact Jugglers do it anywhere. |
