Hi all!
For those of you in the business of vending acrylics and juggling supplies at Ren Faire and/or other festivals, I have a few questions.

A friend of mine and I are looking to get into selling at SCA events and local festivals since there are many arts festivals around but not much in the way of performing arts.
Not to mention every time I am juggling in public people watching are nearly rabid to find out where they can buy a ball. I have no local juggling store to refer them too and I know they'd rather buy right there then have to order online.

So my question is, where is the best place to buy in bulk for vending? And are there any tips to getting started?

My friend has been into wholesale "pagan" stuff for a while but we are both not so sure on acrylics.

well, most reputable dealers aren't going to talk to you unless you have a tax ID and retail license. Retailers would be out of business if just anyone could buy stuff wholesale. Plus, most faires and festivals you have to have to have a retail license also. They don't cost much, just go down to your local city hall and find the business license office to register. Then I know TryOutToys sets up at some ren faires, so I would suggest talking to them. Plus, Michael and Jennifaerie are really cool people. They could probably hook you up with some spheres and instructional dvd's, I carry a lot of their products in my store. Great stuff, and really cool videos. I set the multisphere dvd on party loop and let it play all day
