Hello Welcome. Ignore the neighbors. They probably do annoying things too.

You know, I was in Starbucks doing that hand-crossover-isolation thing today (as you do). And about twelve people came over and started asking me to read their fortunes or do another trick [/quote]

that happens to me all the time, it gets kinda annoying after a while, people seem to really believe that i can tell them what direction their lives are gonna take. these days i just do some tricks and say "thats what its for" and go back to what i was donig they're generaly more amazed than if i had accualy read they'r future.

welcome

Hallo Aimee!

I was just up your neck o' the woods enjoying some goldstarbriney hospitality.. He didn't offer me any digestives then either, one can only assume he's got a 'digestive habit', a common problem that far north I should imagine.

I'd probably have said 'hallo' sooner only I swanned off to Venice for the week and gondolas with internet access were harder to find than you'd think.

hello there.

Your story made made laugh, as it seems we would all rather be CJ than doing what we are meant too. I practice palmspinning in lectures - it gives added incentive not to let the balls click!

That's just what the gondolier wanted you to think, Elsie Dee. You can bet anything that as soon as your back was turned he was on that Blackberry, updating his gondolier blog - "'ere, you'll never guess who I've got in the back o' me boat today!".

Hallo Nagini - the festival's brilliant, you'll love it. All I ever do when I'm in town for it is sit in the cafe on George St. staring at the street performers and stalking Dylan Moran, so no doubt you'll see me if you walk up that way

I tried doing isolations in a lecture once, thought it'd help my concentration in a sort of zen way - but all it did was meant I spent the time thinking "allegorical metaphysics hm this isn't isolated properly performative gender roles in elizabethan no don't spin that way symbolic diffusion of reality oh god my foot the pain (etc.)" so I don't think it worked.

Ummm, did somebody mention gingerbread lattes?

Those and the granola bars are the best things to come out of Starbucks, not counting random contact juggling demos.
