Neon Husky has metal balls available. I tried out a metal ball at a renn faire and I didn't find it too heavy (my acrylic seems heavier, actually, but I think it's also a smidge bigger).

I want to get some 5 or 6 inch metal balls for body rolling. Any clue where I could find some that big?

I think Twisty posted this somewhere ages ago, can't remember where I saw it. Regardless, linky
Some of them look truly huge...and they come in 13 colors...

Nah, I've got a gazing globe and it doesn't weigh more than a couple pounds - maybe only a little more than a 4" acrylic. Still looks pretty impressive, though!

Theres loads of cheap crystal divining/gazing globes on ebay, are they different from acrylics in that they smash or something cuz theyre way cheaper!

well hell I was hoping that this ball would work out better but allas
I just went out and did a couple of rolles with it and its fine for practice but it has flat spots from the grinding wear the 2 halves are jouned and ofcours a hole in it but you should always leav a way for mosture to escape in somthing like this if it was stainless it wouldnt be a big deal to seal it but this will rust from the inside out if you seal it. now should I bother with getting it painted hm questions questions
