Go, Ed, go! I'm rooting for ya, baby!

(anything so that I don't have to try something that obviously injurious to someone like me who has the flexibility and balance of a goat).

Hm. First thing I thought when I started learning CJ was "Wow, this would look so awesome combined with dancing."

So.

Keb, that is a really good thought.

Don't lose it.

I reckon we're just at the beginning of a whole contact Juggling/dance movement.

you see, a year or two ago, I really wanted to mix popping and contact. The easiest way to do that is to isolate a ball, and dance around it. I mean, one of the fundementals of popping is Isolation. The fundemental of Isolating a ball is, well, Isolation. I saw a very cunning connection.

So I played with it. for ages. I got a bit bored. now, I still want to dance, but I want more than just isolations mixed with my popping.

I've done the easy bit. now my challenge becomes a bit harder... now, I do still practice my isolations in order to keep them tight, but I'm leaning towards other techniques, and moves where the ball actually does move...

That's what keeps me going. that challenge.

Plus I'm a bit OCD, and straight lines and even shapes excite me. almost to the point of climax. So, i practice again and again and again.

The Illusion and isolation style contact is still not mature yet. I got a bit bored of it myself. But actually its really exciting for me again. proabbly because I am stoked about my dancing. After the next few months I predict I wil pretty much be dancing and isolating as my main cj style again. It just took a while for a juggler to do enough practe and take enough classes to become a dancer. Most of what I was doing wasn't very educated in dancing terms. Anyway, lots of work to do. in both dance and juggling.
