You know... a Renaissance Fair! It's just a whole fun time that has a Renaissancey feel to it. Lot's of performances of all sorts, all sorts of cool stands, and just a bunch of fun people. My favorite is the Koroneburg European Old World Festival. It's a really good one. The same group that puts on Koroneburg also does Cutthroats of Corona, which is a pirate festival.

we don't have anything like that in ireland, pity,a pirate fiar sounds deadly i would love to go to one of those.
