The following is a video list all the Chest Rolls and Chest Roll variations I could think of.

Chest Rolls
Chest Roll
Behind the Neck Roll
Over the Head Roll
Around the Neck Roll (front to back)
Around the Neck Roll (back to front)
Shoulder Roll (front to back)
Shoulder Roll (back to front)

Wall Plane Chest Rolls
Wall Plane Chest Roll
Wall Plane Behind the Neck Roll

Variations of Chest Rolls
v1
v2
v3
v4
v5
v6
v7

Variation of Shoulder Roll
Over the Head

Straight Arm Rolls
Straight Arm Chest Roll
Straight Arm Chest Roll (palm side)
Straight Arm BtN Roll
Straight Arm BtN Roll (palm side)

Would you consider the moves labeled V4, V5, V6, and V7 to be, “Diagonal Plane Chest Rolls”, or just regular chest rolls done with a different style?

Would all the moves listed be considered some sort of "Chest Roll"?
Or
Do some fall into a different category?

really nice stuff, really nice. Wall plane in particular.

couple more to think about: prayer, cage and straight arm (level and high to low) chestrolls, continuous around the neck? I think someone was calling it a Robespierre Roll a while back

I thought about Prayer Chest Rolls and Cage Chest Rolls and Corkscrew Chest Rolls and the list just kept getting longer. So now I’m thinking the definition of “Chest Rolls” should simply be, “when your sphere rolls from one shoulder to the other and sometimes back, by means of any path between.” Or something along those lines. Because by limiting chest rolls to the shoulders and between you completely separate them from all types of arm rolls creating a clear distinction between the two. A “Prayer Chest Roll” would still be a “Prayer Chest Roll”, it just wouldn’t fall under the category, “Chest Roll.” It would be a Prayer(subset of butterfly transfers), followed by a Full Outside Arm Roll(subset of arm rolls), followed by a Chest Roll(subset of chest roll).

Maybe?
