ah yes i rember that know. i love that series. i got the huge jumbo book that has all 5 of them. great series. im boycotting the movie cuase it probly sucked

I liked the movie. Although, even Douglas Adams said that the movie was only loosely based on the book. Same character names, much of the same dialogue, and fuzzy versions of many of the same plot points. Stiil a good movie though. Worth seeing. I had the theme song stuck in my head for days.

The movie was enjoyable. It lacked the "moxie", the "oomph", and the
"je nais se quas" the book series had, but I could stare at Zooey DeShcanel's eyes all day long.

The problem with the HGttG film was that Adams has an excellent and very funny writing style, but isn't necessarily a particularly good comedy writer, or sci-fi writer for that matter. You tend to lose the satirical asides when the book is made into a film. Oh and much as I hate to be a pedant; "Je ne c'est quoi".

lol. yeah i can hardly spell english let alone another langue. great series, and i bet you would lose alot of the litle things that we all love about it in a movie
