I was thinking of doing some busking with my meagre talents and was wondering if anyone knows if you need liscences and such to busk in the UK? People keep telling me different things so I thought someone on here might know.
Cheers

I suppose it depends where. If you maybe contacted the council of where you were thinking to busk and asked, im sure they'd be able to tell you.

nah, i've met ctoan, i'll be running scared...........

best policy is to go and busk.

easier to ask forgiveness than permission.

don't stop for anyone less than a policeman, whatever you're threatened with.

have fun, jo public is usually on your side.

Do I stop for a community officer? Cos they think they're policemen!

Briney, I'm not sure if my messages are working and it's short notice so I'll ask you here. Hows Thursday daytime? I've got basically no money at the moment though so I can't get far unless my mate takes pity on me and drives.

yeah I should be headed back on a morning train on Thursday so I'll land in chester station around 12.30 hopefully. I'll PM you ma mobile number for the getting in touch-ness.

You'll have to expect me carrying most of my worldly possessions though.
