Hey kids,

I've been in California and Nevada for the last ten days, so I've missed quite a bit around here, it seems.

Had a great time, even though some lightfingered SOB stole my cell phone in Vegas. *grr*

I even *drove* by Dr. Bob's Magic Shop in california and bought some new balls. Don't Do That. Dr. Bob is a super nice guy, and he even opened the shop for me even though it was the day it was supposed to be closed. Oy. I feel kinda bad about that. Anyway, don't go by there, because the CJ ball business is purely meant to be an online thing.

Despite all that, I had a GREAT time and Dr. Bob is just a fantastic guy. I picked up two purple 65mms (sort of a reddish purple, VERY pretty) and one orange 70mm ball. The orange is a rich, late sunset color and I just don't get tired of looking at it. It's almost amber, but has too much red in it to be true amber.

I recommend them very much. In addition, Dr. Bob showed me some NEW BALLS he's going to be getting in soon! I'm not going to ruin the surprise, but I think the new stuff is going to be very inspiring for some folks. ^_^

by the by, Bri, trying to figure out a London/Dublin/Edinburgh hop in the next year or so. I'll keep you posted.
