my fave so far is a 3" translucent red
i dont like the reli big balls cos it takes away some of the illusion and makes it eassyier. also it doesnt look impressive. like its mentioned several times anyone can do most of th tricks using a basket ball given a few attempts

imo, especially for isolations a 4inch acyrlic can look real nice and floaty like

i always feel when im using my 3'' im a bit worried my hands might be obstructing the audience's view of the ball when doing certain things (but i guess a good workman doesn't blame his tools!)

I really like my 4" clear acrylic, though I'm thinking about dropping to a 3.5" instead. 4" just gets a little heavy after a while. Colors are neat and all, but me personally its the clears that make me oooh and ahhh. For palm iso's, the 4" just stays put like a dream, but I think I maybe like the look of a little smaller one rolling all around. The ultimate one though would be crystal clear, but wouldn't mark or scratch even if dropped on concrete or rocks... note: I'm still searching for this one

me and my 4'' are inseparable ^^ i never completely understand when people say they find it too heavy

i always find when i go back to my 3'' it feels too light, too small and hard to control, but im probably just biased

For single ball... 3-3.5" for moi. Acrylics are my favourite, I like their weight and surface... and just the look of them during performances.

I would KILL for a clear pink acrylic... I would sell my soul... I would do anything... ;.;

a good workman doesn't blame his tools but he does pick the right tools for the job.

my favorite is my 4" acrylic for isolations, my small acrylics for muliball, my red stage ball for body rolls and my medium(i think its 75 mm) for arm roll and messing about, tho i suppose if i had to pick i can do all of it with my stage ball but i cant pick so they'r all my favorite. best colour is always red or clear acrylic

wey hey red and clear acrylic
loving that
i was teachin poi at a local school today and was showing some of th kids contact tricks
and i got alot better reactions doin isolation with a 2 1/2 " clear thn i was with my translucent red 3"er
i no tht larger balls make isolation easyier but if its done with practice and percision then smaller balls can be equally or even more effective.
confuzzled?????????
