Not that I can do any body rolls, but watching your video did wonder that instead of the knee bounce could you roll it along your thigh and into the palm of the other hand, thus a circular type body roll thingy could be possible.

Good idea. I will work on that to see how it looks.

even if i don't aim for the hand to foot one at all (yet), I drilled my 50 chestrolls anyway (one side still feel reaaaally clumsy though). Feels like i got a long way to go

And damn, me poor back hurts now.

ok... after my initial joking, I decided to actually try this. I've determined that being active in hackey sack is BAD when trying to learn this move. Ball dropped, and instincts took over without thinking... foot kicks solid ball back into the air... canvas slip on shoes have no padding... side of foot a little sore. At least I caught it on the kick up, but I don't really recommend that one unless you're using a soft stage ball or something.

the best thing to practice with is a big ball. like, 6" or so. a half basketball is perfect.

alternate your chest rolls with behind the neck rolls, it'll keep your back moving, it feels really good and it won't hurt.

my chestroll drill runs thus:
chest both ways x5-10
btn both ways x5-10

continuous sequence:chest, btn, around the neck(to reverse direction) chest, btn, around the neck. repeat till drop.

i'm trying to work overhead and over the head rolls into the sequence as well, but that's a way off.

also working on hand to forehead to foot, but that's still mostly at dream stage..........

Thanks for the tip silver, Someone told me that before, but i suck so much at the behind the neck that it hurts anyway. But I'll try to alternate a bit anyway, it can only do good.
