The second -Tripod-
2002-02-15 06:02:07 by Shifty

This is the second version of the tripod stall. Instead of using your index, middle, and ring fingers, you are using your thumb, index, and middle. You can roll the ball to the tips, and then curl your fingers sideways as you bring them together to give a little flash to the stall itself, kind of like a little settling in move.

I actually call the hold with the middle three fingers the Three Finger Hold. Easy to differentiate between the two, as a thumb is not a finger. Also, I have heard the finger hold called a Stretched Finger Hold. Kae (taking note of a bug in the comments...)
