 speed/rhythm/music of CJ?

Well I FINALLY got my computer back (been on my roomie's laptop) so I have started downloading a few videos from the video section, which I've been meaning to do for awhile. I've watched a few of the performances from CJC 2024 (though I'm having trouble downloading them, they keep getting cut off about halfway through?)

One thing I've noticed that I didn't really think about before is that the tempo of your CJing is very important. I noticed this on some of the clips from the moves section as well...if you do a move too fast, it's hard to even see what is going on. I personally preferred the routines that were a bit slower, they seemed to have more flow and grace to them.

There was a discussion not too long ago about Michael Moschen in comparison to some of the guys here. Now granted, I haven't seen video of everyone here, but the #1 difference I have noticed so far is that Moschen has the complete performance down, where all of his moves are flawless and graceful. In terms of difficulty, some of you may even one up him. But from what I've seen, his presentation is what sets him apart from the pack.

I hope nobody takes offense or gets the wrong message from this, I'm just trying to open a discussion about how to put together a routine, in terms of what style of music you choose, and how that will affect the speed at which you CJ.

I keep thinking that 3 Libras by A Perfect Circle would be good to CJ to.
