I don't know much about stage balls, but I can tell you that my only one is a 4" Dube stage ball. It's hard, and seems to weigh a little less than a 2.5" acrylic (just an estimation). I use it for all my attempted bodyrolling moves like chestrolls if I'm gonna be practicing in front of a glass mirror or anything like that.
